Grilled Pizza! By Patience

How I felt....
Many times in our busy schedules, we don't have time to create culinary art. We are so busy that we don't always think about the deep flavor of food.... However, eating full flavored meals really helps you to feel amazing, so I want to share a recipe with you that doesn't take forever, but that really is full of flavor!

When we were grilling our pizza recently, I felt like I was in Italy, slowly cooking pizza in a pizza oven.  It was some of the best pizza I have ever eaten! I think everyone should try this AMAZING pizza recipe!

I found this pizza crust online, and it is the one I used. It worked great for me.

   Pizza Crust
Makes 8 small pizzas or 2 large pizzas.
  • 1 2/3 cups water
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons active dry or instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt

The pizza on the grill..
If you want to use the pizza dough that same day, use 2 teaspoons of yeast. If you are going to let the dough rise overnight, use 1 teaspoon yeast.
So delicious!!!
Mix the water and yeast together in the bowl of a stand mixer or a large mixing bowl. Let stand for a few minutes until the yeast is dissolved. Stir the oil into the yeast mixture, then add the flour and salt. Mix with a spatula until a shaggy, floury dough is formed.
Knead the dough on low speed with a dough hook for 5 to 7 minutes, or knead by hand on the counter for 6 to 8 minutes. When kneaded, the dough should form a smooth ball, feel smooth to the touch, and spring slowly back when poked.
Let the dough rise at room temperature for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until it has doubled in bulk.
Before making the pizza, remove the dough from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for at least 1 hour.
Preheat your gas grill with all the burners on high 10 to 15 minutes before you plan to cook.
(Get All toppings ready!
How can you say
no to this?..
Grilling The pizza To Perfection
Pick up a ball of dough, and put it on you fist; start pulling it around your hand. Then stretch it to the size you want. (How big it is determines how thick your crust will be.)
Put the crust on the grill. You want to leave it there until the side facing the heat is just crusty. Then use tongs to flip crust. Quickly put your sauce and toppings on. Grill until the cheese is melted.
You are now ready to remove pizza and dig in!!!!!!
This is a really yummy treat that I hope you enjoy and have a lot of fun with! :)
